Renn Labs LLC d/b/a Vantage (“Vantage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Vantage platform at govantage.ai. Vantage is an AI-powered social media content generation platform designed for real estate agents. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our website and services. By accessing or using Vantage, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 User-Provided Information

When you create an account and use Vantage, you voluntarily provide us with the following information:

  • Account Information: Email address, password (stored in hashed form), and profile details you choose to provide.
  • Property Data: Property listing information including addresses, prices, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, property photos, MLS data, Zillow data, and geographic coordinates.
  • Social Media Connections: When you connect your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, or LinkedIn accounts via OAuth, we receive authentication tokens and access to publish content on your behalf.
  • Brand Information: Website URLs you provide and brand profile data extracted from your real estate websites.
  • Generated Content: AI-generated social media posts, templates you create, and any edits you make to generated content.
  • Payment Information: Payments are processed through Stripe. Vantage does not store credit card numbers or payment credentials on our servers.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you access Vantage, we automatically collect certain technical information:

  • Device and Browser Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform, and interaction patterns.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and collect analytics data. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

1.3 Social Media Content Collection

With your explicit permission, Vantage accesses your existing social media posts from connected accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn) to power our Voice Profile feature. This feature analyzes your writing style, tone, and vocabulary to generate content that sounds like you. We store the retrieved posts and the resulting voice analysis in your account. You may disconnect your social media accounts and request deletion of collected social media content at any time.

1.4 Property Data Collection

Vantage collects property listing data through multiple methods, including manual entry by you, imports from MLS feeds, and data retrieved from Zillow. This data is used exclusively to generate social media content for your listings and is associated with your account.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Service Delivery

We use your information to provide and operate the Vantage platform, including:

  • Generating AI-powered social media content based on your property listings, voice profile, and brand profile.
  • Publishing and scheduling social media posts to your connected accounts.
  • Analyzing your existing social media posts to build and refine your Voice Profile.
  • Extracting brand information from your website to create your Brand Profile.
  • Managing your account, subscriptions, and preferences.

2.2 Improvement and Development

We use aggregated and anonymized usage data to improve Vantage, including analyzing feature usage patterns, conducting A/B testing of new features, monitoring platform performance, and identifying areas for improvement.

2.3 Communication

We may use your email address to send you service-related notifications (such as account verification, subscription changes, and security alerts), product updates and new feature announcements, and promotional offers related to Vantage. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each email.

2.4 AI Content Generation

To generate social media content, we send your property data, voice profile characteristics, and brand profile information to OpenAI's API for processing. This data is used solely for generating your requested content. Your data is not used to train generalized AI models. OpenAI processes this data under our data processing agreement, which restricts use of your data beyond fulfilling your content generation requests.

2.5 Compliance

We may use your information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes, to enforce our Terms of Service, and to protect the rights, safety, and property of Vantage, our users, and the public.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

3.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating Vantage:

  • OpenAI: Receives property data, voice profile data, and brand profile data to generate social media content on your behalf.
  • Stripe: Processes payment transactions securely. Vantage does not store your payment card information. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): Provides cloud hosting and S3 storage for images and files.
  • Social Media Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn receive content you choose to publish or schedule through Vantage.
  • Google Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data to help us understand how users interact with our platform.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests, including subpoenas, court orders, or government regulations. We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or respond to a government request.

3.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your information. We reserve the right to assign this Privacy Policy and all user data to a successor entity upon any change in corporate structure or ownership.

3.4 Data Transfer for AI Content Generation

When you use Vantage to generate content, relevant data (property details, voice profile characteristics, and brand profile information) is sent to OpenAI's API. This data is used exclusively for generating the content you requested and is subject to OpenAI's data processing terms. Your data is not used by OpenAI to train, improve, or develop generalized AI models.

4. Data Security

4.1 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and sensitive data at rest.
  • Password hashing using strong, one-way cryptographic algorithms.
  • Access controls that restrict employee and contractor access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
  • Secure cloud hosting on AWS with regular security monitoring and updates.
  • OAuth-based authentication for social media connections, meaning we never store your social media passwords.

4.2 Data Breach Protocol

In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected users via email within 30 days of discovering the breach, in accordance with applicable law. We will also notify relevant regulatory authorities as required by applicable law and take immediate steps to contain and remediate the breach.

5. User Rights

5.1 Access and Control

You have the right to access, update, and manage your personal information. Specifically, you may:

  • Access and review the personal data we hold about you through your account settings.
  • Update or correct inaccurate personal information at any time.
  • Disconnect social media accounts and revoke Vantage's access to your social media data.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated personal data by contacting us at support@govantage.ai.

5.2 Data Portability

You may request a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly-used, machine-readable format. To make a data portability request, contact us at support@govantage.ai. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

5.3 Raising Concerns

If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, you may contact us at support@govantage.ai. We will investigate and respond to your concerns promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your data has been handled in violation of applicable law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Specifically:

  • Account Data: Retained for the lifetime of your account and deleted within 30 days of account deletion, except where retention is required by law.
  • Property Data: Retained as long as the listing exists in your account. You may delete individual listings at any time.
  • Social Media Data: Voice profile data and retrieved social media posts are retained until you disconnect the associated account or request deletion.
  • Generated Content: Retained in your account until you delete it or close your account.
  • Technical Logs: Automatically collected technical data is retained for up to 12 months for security and analytics purposes.

7. International Data Transfers

Vantage is operated from the United States. If you access Vantage from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using Vantage, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection rules than your country of residence. We take steps to ensure that your data receives adequate protection in accordance with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed.

8. Children's Privacy

Vantage is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.
